Can You Decide To Be Happy?

Last Updated: 2011/10/07

Many people are living a life of sadness, despair, fear and anger, as if they were living in a basement with a very low ceiling. A cold, damp ceiling of dense concrete, keeping them down. There are no windows in this place, no sunshine coming in, no birds singing, no nightingales, no voices of children playing, no affection, no tenderness. Instead there are tons of misery, illness, sadness, anger, depression, fatigue, anxiety, doubt and low self-esteem.

How can you leave these gloomy quarters? How do you go back to the gentle sunlight? All you need to do is take a few steps up the staircase, and there you are: on the first floor, where there is lots of light, love, abundance, joy, well-being and plenty of sunshine, even if it is raining outside. All of this is just one floor away! One floor up, in fact.

Why is it so hard to leave the basement, to wake up from this nightmare, and to reach that place where you long to be, when it is just a few steps away? Because they have told you that this murky basement you are living in is all there is, and you have taken their word for it. Who are they ? They are your parents, your teachers, people around you, TV shows you watch, newspapers you read, and so on.

You think this sad life in the basement is reality, and that love and excitement is the stuff that dreams are made of. My dear, you are living an illusion! You are living a huge misunderstanding, for it is exactly the other way around. It is the darkness that is the dream (a nightmare in fact), and Love and Light that is real.

Unfortunately, they never told you that real life is happening just a few steps up. They never told you that you are living in a nightmare. Why didnt they tell you? Are they that sadistic? Didnt they want you to be happy and healthy and abundant? Oh yes, they did! So why didnt they tell you? Because they simply do not know themselves! They too believe, and have believed for their whole life, that the lies they are living are the truth, that the nightmare is real. And so they could not have told you anything else than the lies they themselves take for truth.

This handover of misunderstandings and lies has been going on for a very long time, generation after generation. Do you really want to stay under that ceiling, cramped and swamped in darkness and misery? Do you want your children to fall for these lies and living a life of discontent, heaviness and chronic disease? Or do you want to live one step beyond, a few steps up, being showered with love and feeling the sunshine on your face?

How do you get there? It is right there!

You will have to stretch yourself a little bit to get there. You will have to take a serious look at your belief system and carefully examine the core beliefs that all of your thoughts are built upon. Then you will need to decide whether you will continue believing the lies they told you, or whether you will abandon those limiting ideas, make up your own mind, and take a shot at living in joy and excitement.

Stretch yourself, step out of your comfort zone. You will have to quit some bad habits and leave behind some of the people you used to hang out with. You can no longer dwell in negative energy vibrations once you have made up your mind that you want to live on a positive vibe.

How can you go one floor up and step back into the light? There are several things you can do! Take a walk in nature, listen to some uplifting music, read an inspiring book, attend workshops to develop your talents, discover your inner truth and your true nature in moments of silence, take your dreams serious and do whatever you can to realize them. Nurture your passions: sing, dance, paint, draw, make love with your loved one, connect with your guardian angel, look into the eyes of a child, play with your pets, make friends with the Universe, have a conversation with God (and with the neighbors), follow your own path, lift your vibration with therapies like Bach Flower Therapy, and so on. In a nutshell : surround yourself with people, objects and activities that have a high energy vibration and that makes your energy flow in your body. There is so much to enjoy!

There is so much you can do to uplift your energy vibration, that there is absolutely no excuse to stay underground. Unless you consciously choose to be loyal to those who tell you there is no fun in life, that this misery is just the way life is, that you have to accept it, and that the basement is the only room in the house. You have a choice to make: or you make it your priority to uplift your energy, or you stay where you are. It is totally up to you! You have the freedom to choose. Since everybody can go upstairs, since access is denied to nobody, there really is no excuse not to go there?

You should do every day things that make you feel happy. It won’t happen by itself. Make a list of what makes you feel smiling and what uplifts your energy, and start doing at least some of these things every day! You can, nobody withholds you!

Consider this: the effort needed to go up that staircase is no bigger than the effort needed to stay under that low ceiling, carrying a heavy load on your shoulders. The effort is the same but the results are vastly different! Staying where you are is wallowing in misery and pain. Going upstairs is telling the world you really believe you and everybody else deserve a life filled with light and enthusiasm! Your life is waiting for you! Go up there and get it! Do not wait for it to happen by itself. Stand up, move your body, take action and do what makes you feel better!

Why not go up? The difference is enthusiasm!

Life Is Like A Streetcar: You Need To Be Right On Track To Get The Power!

Last Updated: 2011/10/07

Engineers know it. Streetcars know it. I know it, and in fact, you know it too. If you are not right on track, then you will not be getting any power. You will not feel the energy surge, and you will not feel love, freedom or abundance either. You will feel stuck and empty.

You must be on the right track before you can feel the drive of Universal Energy. Just like a streetcar. Imagine the most beautiful, the most sophisticated streetcar there is, equipped with all the latest technology. In the tracks there is plenty of electricity available, always, ready and willing to pump its invigorating juice into whatever it is connected to.

However beautiful or modern this streetcar may be, as long as it is not aligned with the tracks it will not get any power to go forward. The streetcar remains motionless. Mind you, this static condition is NOT a decision of the energy supply! The power line is NOT saying, hey, I do not like the looks of this streetcar, I will not give it any energy! The energy is always available, that is not the problem. But you need to know how to tap into it and use it for your own propulsion!

We are all very familiar with the mechanism of power supply. We have learned how to use electricity when we were kids. We all know that if we do not put the plug into the socket, then the lamp will not produce any light. We are not so stupid that we want the lamp to shine without making contact with the energy source.

Then why are we so stupid when it comes to our own real life? Why do we not connect to the Universal Power Supply when we want to get our juices flowing? We are like the television set that all of the sudden stops working. The repairman comes over only to find that your TV is completely okay, everything is checked and certified and functions properly. Then how come we did not get a signal? Because the plug fell out of the socket!

How come we are always tired, low on energy, or depressed? Because we are not plugging into the Cosmic Source of Energy! We are like a lamp that tries to shine its light but forgot to plug itself into the power grid. We keep visiting the doctor to look for help, and he keeps saying that everything is fine, and that it is probably in your head, or your symptoms are due to stress. What he basically means, is : I have no clue what is wrong with you, sir/madam, technically everything is okay. All the while we simply forgot to plug in!

If you want to be like a streetcar that is swiftly moving forwards along its tracks, then check your power connection! Energy is always available, but you have to be aligned with your tracks before you can receive it. So where is your track? The answer is: it is your mission. Your track is the realization of your goal, your reason for being here on earth. You have a Life Plan. You have a Life Goal. This is the road you need to travel, this is the way you need to go, this is the track you need to follow. You have your talents to discover, to develop and to offer to the world. God knows you will have plenty of energy once you start doing just that!

Find your goal in life. Discover your mission. Discover your own unique talents, your gifts from heaven, given to you at birth. You are meant to grow and cultivate your talents and gifts, and to offer them to the people you meet in your life, anyone that crosses your path. Do not hide your talents! What a waste that would be! Instead of crying out loud about fate, instead of blaming others for your misery, go ahead and ask yourself why you came on earth. Find the answer to this question, and then start to passionately live the answer!

This is what it means to be right on track. Like a streetcar that smoothly moves along, energized by the ever-present power. Like the lamp, shining brightly to lighten up the lives of everyone in the room. Plug into the universal energy; it is always there, for you as well as for everyone else. The only thing you have to do is to stay connected. Your connection is in the realization of your mission here on earth. All the energy you need is available to you through the socket that is your goal! So find your mission, find your talents, share them with the world, and Universal Energy will flow into your life to fulfill all your needs!

Take Advantage of Audio Books For Better Time Management

Last Updated: 2011/10/06

Many of my friends, regardless of whether they are working or busy at home taking care of kids, never have the time to sit down and read their favourite book.

Work can tire you out as well and by the time you sit down, you just want to lie on your bed and start dozing off.

Many of us buy a lot of books but never had the chance to complete reading the book and some did not even have the chance to take the book out from the shopping bag even!

Does it sound familiar to you? We simply cannot find time to sit down and read a good book. This is not a good excuse and we all know it.

Have you ever wondered why the successful people are always busy and yet accomplish more things than the average man? Their secret lies in good time management. They maximize the use of their time even while they travel, jog or do other repetitive menial tasks that require less mental power.

During these times, they practice active listening to enrich themselves using audio books. How is this possible?

We can explain it by the analogy of riding a bicycle. When you are an experienced cyclist, you do not constantly think about how your legs should move and how your hands will turn. All these limb movements simply happen naturally, as if your subconscious mind is in control. You conscious brain can work on something else in this respect.

Audio books, being portable, fit in well with our modern day busy lifestyles. With an audio book, the narrator does the reading while the listener immerses himself in the information presented to him over voice and can still do other things. Indeed, it is multitasking in action!

In fact, audio books do offer other advantages over normal hardcover or paperback books. An obvious benefit is that they are more cost effective to produce than hardcover and paperbacks. Nature conservationists love books in audio format because it puts forth their notion to save more trees and keep planet Earth better than it is today.

Unlike reading a book which requires lighting, listening to an audio book can be done in the dark. This is ideal for settings where no lights are available or turning on lights might cause disturbances to those around you e.g. in air flights, camping tents and bedrooms at night. Just imagine your spouse can have her good night sleep while you can still enjoy what the audio book you are listening and keeping you awake has to offer.

While there is no great deal of time saved if you compare selecting the exact track you want to listen to flipping through several pages in the case of hardcover or paperback books, this functional feature should not be overlooked. It is only in darkness that one realizes its benefit lies in the ease of accessing the desired content to listen.

And how about a change in the way you tell bedside stories to get your kids to sleep? With an audio book you can simply play it for them until they fall asleep. Try it, you can possibly save the time you spend reading to your kids each night before they sleep!

Audio books that are specifically created for children are more fun than your reading can be. You probably were not trained to talk like the big bad wolf in the Little Red Riding Hood, right? But most of the narrators of children’s audio books were trained to read in ways children love.

I can go on and on telling you the benefits of audio books as a way to make effective use of your “dead” time. If you just a minute to visualize this…

With audio books you can now save that extra time you spend reading a chapter on your favorite motivational book each morning before you leave for work. Apart from saving extra time, you are gaining extra knowledge in the process.

You can simply put it on to play while you prepare for work or even play it in your car on your way to work.

No wonder children, adults and even oldies have fallen head over heels in love with audio books. Why shouldn’t they? You should as well.

Not only that, with the incredible advantage of listening to your favorite book instead of reading it, the popularity of audio books has now gone through the roof. There are now more and more book titles with audio book versions. Audio books are becoming a lucrative market for many working professionals, students and parents.

9 Ideas To Help You Keep Your Your Fitness Resolutions This Year

Last Updated: 2011/10/06

If you’re like more than 80 percent of Americans, you made at least one resolution this year, and chances are pretty good that it has something to do with weight loss, improved eating habits, or getting healthier. Resolutions are great. Research has shown that people who explicitly make resolutions are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t make focused resolutions. The problem is that more than half of all people abandon their resolutions within the first three months of the new year.

If you are among the multitudes who made losing weight, improving your nutrition, or achieving better overall health as one of your resolutions for 2007, there are some very concrete steps you can take so that you actually adhere to them. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never kept a resolution in your life, you can do this, with a little help.

1.Don’t go it alone! Get professional assistance in the form of a qualified personal trainer. It never fails. The new year rolls around, and you think to yourself, “This year, I’m going to do it. I’m going to be disciplined enough, focused enough, committed enough to stick to this resolution.” And then, when push comes to shove, you somehow fall down on the job with regard to that discipline, focus, and commitment. That is precisely when it is beneficial to have a professional in your corner to support you, encourage you, and teach you the best ways to achieve your weight loss, fitness, and nutrition goals. Studies have shown that employing a fitness professional to help you reach your goals more than doubles people’s success rate.

2.Choose an obtainable goal. Resolving to look like a super model is not realistic for most of us, but committing to a weight training program three days a week is very possible. A personal trainer can help you define your goals, as well as setting a realistic timeline for achieving them.

3.Create a game plan. This dovetails with the goal selection segment. The most important thing in sticking to your resolutions is making them realistic. The second most important thing, though, is creating a plan to achieve those goals. Again, a personal trainer can be of enormous help when it comes to creating a personalized nutrition and exercise plan that will work for you.

4.Break your resolution down to make it less intimidating. Rather than focusing exclusively on one BIG end goal, chop it into smaller pieces. Setting several smaller goals you want to achieve throughout the year will make reaching your ultimate goal much easier. For example, if your resolution is to train to run a marathon, your smaller goals could be running 3 miles a day for the first couple of months, adding time and distance as you move through the year, as well as incorporating strength training to increase your muscular endurance.

5.Have a contingency plan. Don’t assume that sticking to your resolution will automatically be smooth sailing, regardless of how determined you are. Know ahead of time that you will likely hit bumps along the road to your resolution and have specific backup strategies in place to help you overcome them. What will keep you from skipping your workout or stop you from having that latte on your way to work? Another way a personal trainer can be effective is in helping you anticipate your stumbling blocks and creating ways around them. He or she will keep you accountable and focused on achieving your goals.

6.Give it time. Most experts agree that it takes about 21 days to create a habit and up to six months for the behavior to actually become a part of your daily life. A trainer will help you stay motivated and focused on your ultimate goal.

7.Reward yourself for each milestone you hit. If you’ve stuck with your resolution for two months, treat yourself to something special. However, be careful of what you use as your reward. If you’ve lost 5 pounds, don’t run out to celebrate with pizza and beer. Instead, treat yourself to something healthful, relaxing, and supportive, like a professional massage or a manicure.

8.Remain flexible. Keep in mind that things change frequently. Your goals and needs may be very different in April than they were when you first made your resolution in January. Embrace this change, and ask your trainer to help you adjust your resolution accordingly.

9.Write down your resolution and record your progress. You’re likely aware of the “SMART” acronym for achieving goals. Make sure your goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. Keeping a record helps with all of those aspects of achieving your goal.

Are you ready? This year, your resolution does not have to crash and burn by the first of February. You can set a weight loss, fitness, or health goal and actually achieve it. If you follow these steps, you will have greater success than you’ve ever experienced in the past, even if you do it on your own.

But if you are really determined to create a new you this year, consider all of the benefits of having a qualified personal trainer in your corner. He or she will help you set realistic goals, create a game plan, break the goal down into smaller components, help you plan for roadblocks, keep you accountable, and enable you to achieve your goal by the date you have set.

Here’s to you and your resolutions. Make it a great 2007!

Starting Off With A Positive Attitude

Last Updated: 2011/10/06

Your attitude will determine your outcome. If you don’t have a positive attitude, you will never achieve your resolutions. Keep this in mind when you start toward any goal. Having the right attitude isn’t something that just happens. It is the result of a conscious effort. As you get dressed in the morning, you would never walk into your closet and say to your clothes, “Okay, time to jump aboard” and expect to be dressed. You know that you have to put your clothes on. Having a positive attitude is a similar process; you have to consciously put one on. You have to decide that you are going to be positive in your thoughts about yourself, others and the world you live in.

Here are 7 simple but powerful strategies to help you become a more positive person.

1. Wake Up Happy. I meet so many people who start their day off with negative statements like “I don’t want to go to work today.” “I don’t want to go to school.” “I’m so tired.” “I can’t wake up until I have my morning coffee.”

Train yourself to Wake Up Happy. You can sing in the shower or listen to music that is uplifting. You could have breakfast with someone you like who is positive and optimistic. You could have a morning prayer time or read a devotional.

By training yourself to wake up happy, you are setting the pace of your day. Don’t leave your attitude to be determined by other people or situations beyond your control. Start your day with a positive note.

2. Take Control Of Your Physiology. What I mean by this is that you pay attention to how you use your body. Walk or stand up straight. Walk 15% to 25% faster. Take full, deep breaths. Use a wider range of tonality and facial expressions. Maintain good eye contact. Observe people who you believe are positive and energetic. Notice how they carry themselves. Positive people carry themselves differently than negative people do. Think of times in your life in which you were feeling your best. Reflect back on your posture, the gestures you make, and your tone of voice. Learn how to master your previous positive states and mirror the physiology of those you want to emulate.

3. Your Language Determines Your Destiny. Make sure that your thoughts and words are positive. The language you use, whether spoken or not must be positive. People don’t know what you’re thinking but this doesn’t give you permission to be inconsistent. Line up your thoughts and words with the kind of person you want to be. The language you use can either build you up or psych you out. Any negative statement can be reframed in a more positive manner. Watch out for statements that predict negative outcomes.

Here are a few that will derail you every time: “I’m so nervous”, “I’m so depressed”, I have a bad temper”. If you are going to put labels on yourself, at least use empowering ones. Try these on and notice the difference. “I’m in excellent health and have boundless energy!” “I never get sick!” “I have unshakeable peace of mind!” “I’m a Great Wife!” “I’m a Great Husband!”

4. Look For The Good In Everyone You Meet And In Every Situation You Find Yourself In. I know it is harder to see in some people and in some situations but everyone has their good points and so will every situation.

5. Expect The Best Of Yourself And Others. Keep your mind tuned into the things you want and off of the things you don’t want. Your brain has a mechanism that is designed to notice things that are similar to your existing thoughts. Think of the last time you purchased a car. Do you remember prior to the purchase, you hadn’t noticed that many cars like yours but the moment you drive it off the car lot you start to see them all over the place. This is how it is when you expect the best. Your brain will lead you to the expectations you desire. Make sure your thoughts are tuned into positive things.

6. Associate With Winners. A winner is someone who is positive, optimistic, lives life to the fullest, and inspires you to be your best self. Strive to limit your interactions with negative people. Negative people will drain you of your energy and sense of hope.

7. Seek Out The Power Of Role Models. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Seek out people in our community who are excelling in the areas you want to better yourself. This can be a great parent or spouse, a successful business person, a strong spiritual example, or student. The paths to success have already been paved. If you follow them, you are sure to succeed as well. An outstanding role model can save you years of trial and error.

You can alter the course of your life by altering your attitude. Nothing can stop a person with a positive mental attitude from achieving their goals. On the flipside, nothing can help a person with a negative attitude. Commit yourself to starting off your todays with a positive attitude.

Why Did Wealthy People Get Wealthy?

Last Updated: 2011/10/06

Nearly everyone has some secret wealth creation strategy. This might be something as simple as improving your qualification or moving to a different job, or maybe starting a home-based business. There are even some who go through a deep study of the stock market and currency trading hoping to make a killer deal one day and then relax for the rest of their life.

Whenever we read something about the rich individuals around us there seems to be a feeling that these people have a knack for making money out of sheer nothing. The truth is that they do not have some secret strategy but their results are based on simple principles that anyone can follow.

Networking is often understood to be something that only marketers need to do but in actuality it is something that everyone must do. If you work with smart and motivated people then you have a better chance of success yourself. So choose the right people to work with.

Rich people never give up when they face difficulties or frustration or there seems no way to proceed. That is the main difference between them and everyone else. If you can stay persistent then you increase your chances of making money. Note that this does not apply to the gambling mentality.

You need to be a decision maker. People who hem and haw in confusion never get anywhere. To be a good decision maker you need to understand the issues involved so you can rapidly decide what is in your favor and what is not. In other words, do not start something you fully understand.

If you look around you will find that most people are busy doing the same thing and none of them are getting rich. To get rich you need to think a bit differently and come up with new ideas. These ideas can also come from information you acquire elsewhere. If you are interested in the stock market then read business magazines to know how the market is.

A timid person succeeds by chance. It takes courage to grip your fate by its horns and turn it the way you want. You must be bold and strong and willing to take calculated risks. Keep in mind that you are not likely to generate wealth unless you are willing to speculate because in the end all business is speculation. It may be 0.1% speculation but it is speculation nonetheless.

Do not be ashamed of insufficient capital or zero capital. Some of the largest fortunes in history were built using other people’s money. You can do this too.

Learn effective time management. If you waste your time in irrelevant tasks that have no connection with your financial success then how can you succeed? Rich people are very focused and though they may appear to just laze around and enjoy life the truth is that they are working hard to manage their time between work and play. It is precisely because they manage their time better that they can work fewer hours.

Ringworm and the ways of treatment

Last Updated: 2011/10/06

Tinea corporis is a fugal infection caused by microorganisms called dermatophytes. Popular known as ringworm, tinea corporis refers to a fungal infection of the body or face. It was noticed that tinea corporis does not affect the beard area on men. This is a common infection believed to affect equally both men and women of any age. Most of the cases are seen in warm, tropical environments.

It is believed that ringworm is a superficial fungus infection. As it was written before ringworm is caused by dermatophytes which are a group of fungi who live in dead tissues of the skin. Trichophyton rubrum, microsporum canis and trichophyton mentagrophytes are the most common fungi responsible for ringworm.

Ringworm appears as a flat, scaly spot that looks like a pimple. The infection increases and a round and enlarged patch can be seen. Usually after its enlargement the center of the flat and round patch clears. The infection looks like a ring therefore the name. Though, this infection has nothing to do with no worms. In some infections such as those treated with a steroid like hydrocortisone the advancing borders or even the center of the infection can have vesicles or pustules.

Because the symptoms or the appearance of ringworm are similar to other skin conditions such as granuloma annulare, nummular eczema or tinea versicolor a KOH test is recommended. In most of the cases the diagnosis is set based on the appearance of the rash. More complex cases require this test that consists of an exam of the fungal cultures.

There are two possible ways of treating ringworm. Topical and oral treatments are the available solutions. As we know topical treatment has a benefic effect over this type of infections. Topical treatment consists of antifungal medicines that are applied on the infected areas. This treatment should last at least 3 weeks for the infection to disappear totally. It is recommended to use antifungal medicines twice a day. Even if the infection disappears after two weeks another week of treatment is necessary in order to completely eradicate the fungus. The most common lotions used in treating ringworm are miconazole, clotrimazole, ketoconazole and terbinafine.

Oral treatment of ringworm is recommended only if the lesion is spread over a large area. Oral treatment has to be taken once a day for 7 days in order to have the awaited result. In these cases oral antifungal medicines such as terbinafine and itraconazole are recommended.

Cosmic Ordering – An Introduction for Martians

Last Updated: 2011/10/06

Well if you have not heard of cosmic ordering before, you really must have been away on another planet. Celebrities have been jumping on the cosmic ordering bandwagon, writing books, having interviews and in some cases attributing some of their success to it.

So for Martians and other less out of the world people who may not yet have heard about cosmic ordering, I thought I would write this little article to give you a run-down on what all the cosmic fuss is about.

In 1998 a German author called Barbel Mohr published a book called “Bestellungen beim Universum” which was later re-published in English and called “The Cosmic Ordering Service”. Based on her experiences of positive thinking and manifestation techniques the book became a runaway success and “cosmic ordering” was born. Since then, many other books have been published, describing various celebrities’ successes with cosmic ordering and providing further cosmic advice. The media too has extensively covered it. Noel Edmonds brought it a great deal of publicity in 2006 when he attributed much of his recent success to cosmic ordering.

So what exactly is cosmic ordering? Well, put simply, it is a technique that uses your personal or spiritual connection to the universe to manifest whatever you want. It is not wishing; wishing implies a hope for something. With cosmic ordering, you place your order and you expect a delivery, sometimes by a specific date. It is not a cognitive, intellectual exercise; it works best whilst maintaining a pure, childlike and innocent feeling and the more crazy and playful the method of requesting the more successful it is.

The actual nature of what the “cosmic connection” is and what the precise definition of the universe is in this context is somewhat unclear and not in my view, really understood, though there are plenty of theories. When Barbel Mohr was asked who received and delivered the cosmic orders, she explained that her belief was that the orders were placed with oneself, that at a fundamental level everything in the universe is connected and we can manifest what we want using our cosmic energy through what she calls the “unified field”. Her theory is finding some things in common with leading edge research in quantum physics.

The important thing to note is that many spiritual commentators recommend it. Many, who have tried it, swear by it. Cosmic ordering works and that is all that really matters. If you want to learn more about comic ordering or try it for yourself, there are many books to choose from or you can even go online and place your own Cosmic Orders there.

Why not start with something simple? Order something small like a car parking space and just see how it goes. Remember, have fun, be confident, place your order and then just let it go. Leave the universe to bring you your delivery in the best possible way at the perfect moment.

Are YOU Your Own Leader?

Last Updated: 2011/10/05

Perhaps you are wondering: what does it mean being my own leader? Well, among the aspects of being your own leader are that you are your own authority, you think independently, you live your life on your own terms, and you are authentic.

And this regardless of whether it is popular or not, regardless of whether it is cool or not, regardless of whether it is trendy or not, regardless of whether it is common or not, regardless of whether your friends, family and peers think in the same way or not. If you are your own leader you will find the inner freedom to be who you really are, and you will begin to know what your power is.

Sometimes we forget that on this planet we are more than 6 billion people, and that there has never been, there is not and there never will be another you. You are totally unique in your qualities, characteristics, likes and wants. You have a magnificent mind, a mind that would enable you to be, have and do anything you truly want in your heart of hearts.

But some people are so afraid of what other people think that they do not use their magnificent mind, they do not use their power. They are afraid to be unpopular, to be alone, not to be liked, not to be accepted for who they are, and they compromise their identity, their own unique magnificence, in order to be someone they are not.

And so they do things they later regret, they say things they later regret, they behave in ways that are not true to themselves; and later in life they realise that actually they have ‘betrayed’ themselves in doing that. And the reason why they do this is simply because they do not like themselves enough to refuse to compromise on who they really are.

So, do you like yourself? And I am not speaking about superficial vanity, but about love. Do you cherish the most important person in your life; yourself? Do you cherish yourself enough to be who you really are, to stand up for who you really are, to treat yourself with kindness, to brush yourself off every time you fall, to keep going even when it is tough and it seems that you are alone?

If you are your own leader you decide what you believe in, you decide what is right for you, what feels right for you, you decide your values, your code of conduct, your ethics, and your morals; you decide what you think about things; you think with your head and think critically about all that is offered. You do not believe blindly everything you hear or see, but you carefully evaluate them, you choose what you believe in; you choose your thoughts, you choose what you say, you choose your life. You decide what you are going to do in your life, what you are going to create in your life. And your values, your choices, and your thinking will be the foundations of your life.

And there is nothing that you ‘should’ do, have or be; you choose everything. You are your own authority. And this means taking the risk of being alone, of not being liked, of not being popular, of being rejected, but with the enormous treasure of being true to yourself.

And the funny thing is that when you are true to yourself, and it seems that you are unpopular, the truth is that people will actually like you more, because you are authentic, because you are doing something that they wish they could do themselves, and you are also showing them courage and the possibility that they could be able to be themselves as well. Sometimes it might seem easier to follow rather than to lead yourself, less effort, but this is just at the beginning, and once you learn to be your own leader, everything is effortless.

There is a quote that sums it up wonderfully: ‘If we value independence, if we are disturbed by the growing conformity of knowledge, of values, of attitudes, which our present system induces, then we may wish to set up conditions of learning which make for uniqueness, for self-direction, and for self-initiated learning.’Carl Rogers

So, what are You going to choose?

How To Have All The Time In the World

Last Updated: 2011/10/05

Today’s culture teaches us to be constantly aware of time’s passing, and we must always stay busy because time is “slipping away.”

There’s a popular expression in Africa that pokes fun at us: “Westerners have all the watches, but Africans have all the time.”

Ana Weber, a relationship coach and financial executive, has learned how to stop racing against Time and become friends with it. You might be able to recognize yourself in the following story.

Ana Weber reached a point in her life where she felt miserable from past experiences and didn’t have enough motivation or time to help everyone who needed her. In other words, she was living in the past.

Ana realized she could never be happy unless she went insane because she couldn’t actually change the past. She was spending all of her time trying to relive her last conversation, yesterday, two years ago, etc.

Ana decided to do something different. Her first change was to make a solid, organized plan for her personal and home life and then prioritize every step. So she made lists on paper of short-term goals and long-term dreams.

She achieved a few of her goals but she had less time than before. She didn’t even have time to celebrate before moving on to the next goal. Now she was living in the future.

Life in the future meant she could only be happy when (fill in goal)… and her “when” kept moving further into the future as she would near it.

Instead of enjoying her life, she was constantly thinking about the next project or about what she would say in the next conversation.

Ana decided to make another change. She liked the motivation she got by thinking about the future, but not at the expense of never enjoying now and killing herself with stress. She decided to treat time like a person and make it her friend instead of racing against it.

Ana spent time getting to know both Time and herself. It was like going on dates. The more she liked Time the more she respected it. By treating Time differently she actually is able to get more things done in less time when she needs to.

Tips to live now AND have a great future:

1. If you catch yourself trying to improve a past event, STOP.

2. Before you go to sleep, imagine a whiteboard with the highlights of your day listed on it, then erase it.

3. Think about who you would like to have good relationships with and how to develop those.

4. Go on dates with Time. Make sure you treat yourself well and give yourself some respect.

5. Don’t try to be everything all the time. Wear imaginary hats for every occasion. Just one at a time. Take off the work hat before you go home.

6. Stop and smell the roses.

7. Spend more time on people than things.

Time is the most precious thing you can give another person because it is the only thing that you actually have as part of being alive.

Ana says, “Through my personal experiences and challenges, I’ve developed an incredibly intimate relationship with time. I love time. I have all the time in the world.”

And so can you.

Scrapbooks Make the Perfect Gift

Last Updated: 2011/10/05

Scrapbooks can make wonderful gifts. There is nothing more touching than receiving a hand-made scrapbook to mark a special event in someone’s life. Many individuals are too busy with work, school or family to start a scrapbook for themselves. If you’re lucky, maybe you have a friend who does scrapbooking as a hobby and might be inclined to start a scrapbook for you to give as a gift, or you may even have the talent to build one yourself.

Everyone loves to get handmade presents, especially ones custom-made by a close friend or relative. A gift of something hand-crafted often touches the heart more than any store-bought item could. The beauty of a gift scrapbook is that all the groundwork is done; the embellishments have been added and the book is ready to receive photos. From this point on, all the new mother has to do with her scrapbook is to add her pictures and start chronicling the life of her newborn.

When creating a gift scrapbook for someone, consider first if they have any experience with scrapbooking. If they are new to the hobby, consider giving them a smaller sized album, such as a 5 X 7 or 8.5 X 11. This will give them room for their pictures without overwhelming them. When designing the pages, leave space on the page for around two pictures and one spot for journaling. Your spots do not have to be full frame sizes, but avoid hard to cut shapes like hearts or flowers. The places to place the picture should be squares and rectangles because these are easy to measure and trim pictures to fit. Consider sending along a few disposable cameras or rolls of film, unless of course she has a digital camera.

Consider giving a few basic supplies along with the album. You will want the person to have photo safe adhesives and some good scissors or other cutting tools to be able to add their pictures to the album. You may want to give them a few customized embellishments that they can add throughout the album. Also, consider including typed instructions on how to finish the album. Encourage them to include journaling to make their pages more personalized.

There are so many occasions in life worthy of a handmade scrapbook marking the event. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, retirements, house warmings – the list is endless. You could create a theme to match a bride’s color scheme or one that is similar to the decor of a new house. Starting a scrapbook may not be something a person ever thought to do on their own before, and by giving a thought-out gift of a prepared scrapbook, you

Visualization – Practice Makes Perfect

Last Updated: 2011/10/05

“Practice makes perfect” or so the saying goes. The troubled is that often we simply do not have either the time or the opportunity to practice things in the real world. However there is a very powerful technique known as “Visualization” that is used by many world-class athletes to boost their performance on the field. Applying this same technique to other aspect of life enables a person to practice things mentally, before encountering the real event.

Visualization is the process of running through scenarios in your mind, actually visualizing the events and your role within them and mentally enacting them. The amazing thing is that scientific research has shown that at a subconscious level the mind does not discriminate between real world events and this visualization. The process of mentally practicing things or visualizing is the same as having actually done it!

Using this technique in advance of any difficult or challenging situation is going to give you a huge performance boost. Just imagine running through an upcoming job interview repeatedly until you had it perfect in your mind. When you come to the real interview, you will already have done it many times in your head; you will be far more relaxed and confident and will have all the right answers to hand. You are bound to impress!

Practicing, mentally or otherwise does not mean however that you should shut your eyes to what may be required of you in any given scenario. There is little point in practice, either mental or real, when you are practicing the wrong thing. This is not going to help create a successful outcome. You need to make sure that you play through your visualizations in a way that takes into account not only what you want, but also the demands of all the other aspects of your scenario.

When other people are involved, you need to take into account their desires and needs or where your scenario involves simple techniques, make sure you have those techniques completely understood.

Visualization allows you to approach difficult and stressful situations with confidence and aplomb and is a vital life skill. When combined with other positive thinking techniques the effects can super-charge your successful outcomes. Visualization will work for anything, from asking for a date to running the marathon.

So why not try it. Next time you face a challenge, why not visualize yourself handling it perfectly and see how powerful it is for yourself.

How to Beat the Blahs and Bring Joy Into Your Life

Last Updated: 2011/10/03

When was the last time you hugged yourself and said: “I bet I am the luckiest person in the world! I feel on top of the world?” Most of us have had an experience like this, and some us have these moments often.

But, if you are saying right now: “What in world is she talking about?” it is time to take a few moments to read this article and learn to have JOY in your life!

Joy is that WOW experience of just being alive. We experience it during intense moments, such as when we fulfill a goal, achieve success, feel connected with others and part of something special, see the beauty in our world and in those we love. You deserve to have this kind of feeling and emotion in your life.

When we talk about joy, we often use the term “bliss” which is being totally absorbed in what we love doing. Nothing else matters during that time. We take a break from our worries and trust that all is right with the world. Researcher and author Martin Seligman, of the University of Pennsylvania, wrote the book titled Authentic Happiness: Using the New Positive Psychology to Realize Your Potential for Lasting Fulfillment. In his book, he talks about feeling gratification from what you are doing and being fully engaged and absorbed in whatever you might be doing.

He says that every one of us has the capacity to experience these feelings and emotions, but that happy people are more likely to feel joy more frequently in life. He means that happiness is a habit we can learn. Happiness is determined in part by what we do and how we do it. However, at least half our happiness comes from the ways we perceive our world and the things we expect to happen in our everyday lives. Have you ever heard someone say, “I am going to be happy today and that is just the way it is going to be?” That person is developing her own “happiness high” and has a much greater chance to have joy in her life. She expects to be happy and probably will get her wish.

What are some of the ways these “happiness high” people find joy? Put your perceptions in high gear and:

~Notice what is right. Instead of walking into a room (or your life) and noticing only what is wrong or missing, focus on the many things that are wonderful.

~Be grateful. Even if you have not won the lottery this week, count your blessings. Start with your health, your family, the right to vote and live in a free country, hot and cold water from the tap, the breath of fresh air you just took, a roof over your head, food on the table. Make a list and you will be amazed.

~Remember the kid in you. Children are happy when they are playing and running freely and just being kids. You don’t see kids worrying all day about life or world peace. Take time to be a fun-loving kid, to get excited and have fun.

~Be kind. Being kind to others helps you feel good. Help a neighbor find a lost cat or clean up an elderly person’s yard. Being kind and offering acts of kindness leads us to happiness and joy.

~Spend time with loved ones. Be a social person and share fun with those you love. When we feel connected with others, we find happiness and joy.

~Don’t overdo. Don’t try to be all things to all people. Simple acts of kindness are one thing, but giving until you are sucked dry is another thing. Learn to say no to some things and some people. They will understand, and respect you for your honesty. We have to keep something in reserve for ourselves and will actually be better caregivers if we remember to do this.

~Savor every moment. You may have heard of Lance Armstrong. He is the 5-time winner of the famous bicycle race the Tour De France. Five years ago as a young man he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which had spread to his lungs and brain. He is in remission but will tell you he is glad he had cancer because he now looks at life as a gift and he indeed savors every moment he is alive.

Studies have shown that people who express and admit they are happy and find moments of joy live longer than those who have lost or never found their joy.

~Rest. Take time each day to find a quiet, safe haven for yourself. Young mothers, especially, need to find some place and space in time for themselves. The little people they care for will really benefit from having happy moms.

~Put on a happy face. If you look happy, you will more likely be happy. If we see someone coming in with a smile and happy face, we usually feel happy too. Happiness is contagious, so get the bug!

~Pursue your goals. Don’t give up on your goals or dreams. Set goals for yourself, work toward them and you will be happy and feel satisfied.

~Last and most important: find your calling. Do not take up space in this world and give nothing back in return. Share your talents and your skills with the world. Don’t worry, you’ll find you have many things to share if you just pay attention. We all need a reason to get up each day.

If you have lost your way and need to find your joy, please take time for yourself to understand how valuable you are and start today and find your “happiness high.”

What You Condemn Or Admire In Others Talks About You

Last Updated: 2011/10/03

The human psyche seems to have a pendant for projecting our shortcomings onto others, but also our good traits.

Without the other we would not be able to know the self: they are our mirrors. If you want to know whether your hair looks great or if your new coat suits you, you take a look in the mirror. You need that mirror to be able to look at your outer appearance.

The same counts for your inner world. If you want to have a look at yourself inside, look into the mirror, which is other people : the traits you hate in them and the ones you love in them. This tells more about you than you think! In fact, you hate and love those traits which you pushed away into your shadow zone, which you decided you do not want to see (the negative traits you condamned as bad or no good), or those which you decided you don?t have (the positive traits, which you call good and which you would like to have but you think you do not have them).

In order to see inside yourself, look at what disturbs you in others and what you admire in others. All these traits are energies you pushed away and which you need to recover. That is why this bothers or attracts you now in your life.

What we condemn or detest in others are our own qualities that we do not want to face, but that we should be working at. This is called the negative projection. What you do not like in others, or even hate, is a part of yourself.

When the indifference of another person disturbs you, it means that you should be more indifferent yourself and stop to invest yourself for 100% everywhere and with everyone! This does not mean you have to become as indifferent, cold and distant as the other person, but that you should reintegrate a part of this energy in your own behavior, and become a little less involved in what you do. Too much involvment can hurt you. You need to learn in this case to take more care of yourself instead of being so focused on the other one.

If you are balanced on this polarity of indifference (one extreme) and too much involvment (the other extreme), than the indifference of the other won’t bother you anymore. This counts for every trait that bothers you in others! You should integrate the energy of this trait in your energy field. This means to become a little bit more like the other (in this exemple : indifferent) and become the opposite to yourself (more involved in your own well being).

When you start to integrate the behavior that disturbs you in others, you will notice that this behavior doesn?t disturb you anymore. You simply do not notice it anymore. You have integrated this energy, so now you become neutral towards this topic.

When the aggressive behavior of a partner or colleagues is getting to you, then you may have to learn to say no, defend your ground and clearly mark the borders. The fact that the aggression in the behavior of somebody else disturbs you, means that you have hidden that energy away in your shadow side. You can reclaim that energy and develop it in other ways that support your balance in life.

This counts for every behavior in others that disturbs you. This is the fastest way to grow and to keep up with others at the same time!

On a scale of polarities, what you hate is the polarity you did not develop inside you and you should. Life showes you this in the behavior of the significant other. In stead of hating him or his behavior, observe, ask yourself what you have to learn, learn it, integrate (you become a better person, a whole, complete person) and the screen of life will show you a more balanced person!

In the same way, the good traits you admire in others are your own qualities that you do not know you have. You think you are lacking these talents and admire them thus in others. These qualities are present within yourself but they are under construction and also need developing. They are, however, a mirror image of your highest abilities. This is the positive projection.

Think of a male person and a female person you admire, and who you know in real life. Make a list of the qualities and traits you admire in them. Then read this list again and say out loud in front of each quality : I am…

Lets say you admire the elegance and the organizational skills of your best friend. This means you too have the capacity to organize your life and things and you too are beautiful, otherwise you would even not be able to see it in others! You do have the germ of these qualities inside, otherwise you wouldn?t be able to notice them.

This list clearly represents who you are. This is the truth about you. These qualities are INSIDE of you. They are merely waiting to be discovered, expanded and expressed.

You can do the same with people you do not know personally, like movie stars, singers, historical figures, politicians, mythical figures, fairies. List their qualities and read for yourself : I am…

In the beginning you are maybe sceptical, you do not want to believe you possess yourself these qualities. But have a closer look and admit the possibility of having these qualities inside you in the form of seeds that need to be cultivated in order to blossom.

What you do not have inside yourself, you can not see in others!

How One Small Business Trumped Hurricane Katrina With Help from the Local High School

Last Updated: 2011/10/02

August 2005 had been a great month for me, as I marked 10 years in business. All month long, the mood was festive and upbeat, and I was pleased at how well the business was going and excited about the future.

But suddenly, my entire world was turned upside down and inside out when the massive storm struck and did its horrible damage.

On the day Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, I was supposed to be filming my 2nd exercise DVD in New Orleans – but the only filming done that day was by the news media, recording the Katrina disaster as it grew ever more ominous and life-threatening.

My family and I were safe, having evacuated to my daughter’s apartment in Florida. But we were filled with fear and anxiety about what was going to happen to our home, and to the homes of our friends … we wondered if we were even going to have a home to go back to.

From Florida, we headed for Houston, where my husband’s job called him. We stayed in Houston for one month, during which time I couldn’t even find out about – much less do anything about — my business, which I feared might “go under” with so many other hopes, dreams and physical properties back home.

When we were able to return, finally, we were relieved and grateful to learn that we only needed to have our roof replaced and clean up some minor inside damage. The home front was going to be all right — but my business wasn’t faring as well.

Everyone’s top priority was to take care of our properties and to help others who were struggling. With all the trees down and dangerous, filthy debris everywhere, there was no way to even take a brisk walk to help shake off the blues. All any of us could do, day after endless day, was to work at cleaning up the unbelievable mess.

My son’s school reopened, so he was gone all day … my husband was still in Houston … and I was trapped in a nightmare where each effort I made to move forward was met with a resounding “No way!” I did show up at my studio, but it was wasted effort, since I was usually the only one there. My clients didn’t have the time, the energy or the motivation to keep up with their workouts during this troubled time.

I was frustrated beyond words, and depression began to settle in and drag me down into its numbing clutches … but I also am very stubborn when I believe in what I’m doing … and my belief in my business was strong. There simply was no way I was going to let it go under without a fight.

With my family’s blessing, I began to take money out of our house funds to pay rent and bills for the business. (Thankfully, they shared my belief that sometime in the near future things could be salvaged, turned around and would get better.) Scary stuff … but there was no other choice, other than the unacceptable one of seeing my business fall apart, fail and disappear … and I am one stubborn businesswoman when the cause is just and failure unacceptable.

One day I just set aside the mop, the broom, the buckets for debris, the work gloves and the stained, tattered coveralls, and decided that’s all the “cleaning up” I was going to do. If the carpets stayed muddy for a while longer, well, that wasn’t going to be the end of the world. But thinking about losing my business felt like exactly that – and I simply wasn’t going to have it.

First, I decided to go over the script that I had planned to use for the 2nd DVD, editing it and revising it to be a tighter presentation. That exercise refreshed my focus and sense of purpose for the business and I was inspired to take it to the next level of intensity, writing another script called focused on a different kind of exercise. That writing went very quickly, as well, as ideas – long shelved in favor of the more immediate demands of hurricane clean up – burst through to my consciousness. After that, I wrote a script for the next level … and after that, I began to pull together thoughts and exercises for an aerobic DVD.

Suddenly, from someone down in the dumps, battling depression and a growing sense of futility, I was a house afire once again, with renewed purpose and direction. BUT … with no clients coming to the studio, with everyone’s spirits at least badly bruised, if not crushed, how was that going to happen? And where would the funds come from to pay for the filming?

Never mind. One step at a time. The disruption of daily life would end, some day … people would return to more normal routines … and when the time was right I would already have scripts written for whole new set of exercise DVDs.

One day my son came home from school with the news that his media instructor had given the okay to film at his school, saying it would be a great project for the kids to work on. I certainly wasn’t expecting a professional result from the kids, but was nevertheless grateful for the offer and thought that at the very least, it would allow me to do a practice run through. Two weeks later we started to film, and the level of professionalism these students could deliver was stunning.

The result was so good, in fact, that I become a mentor for the Fontainebleau High School Media Program and they agreed to film all the DVDs I had written. This was great experience for them and a huge break for me. Between the months of January and May 2006 we were able to film five DVDs plus a redo of our original DVD. To thank the school, I now give them a percentage of each video sold to help support the media center.

I wanted to tell this story to show that while Katrina was a devastating event, with a profound and horrible impact on many lives, it also ignited the spark of all that’s best in humankind … spirits that won’t be smothered, hopes that won’t be destroyed, determination that will guarantee triumph, and the beautiful symbiosis of people working together for the best interests of all.

My business thrives again, today … and the Media Program at Fontainebleau High School thrives, as well. And the healing and growth continue….

Just Do It NOW!

Last Updated: 2011/10/02

Just do it. Put on your Nike shoes and run with it. Yeah! Jump on it. Go for it. Right now is the moment. Apply the wisdom from Confucius, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Use the philosophy of Ansonius who says, “To begin is to achieve.”

So start with zero hesitation. Dare to live your dream. Use initiative to annihilate procrastination. Heed the words of Edward Young about procrastination, “Procrastination is the thief of time: Year after year it steals, till all are fled, and to the mercies of a moment leaves the vast concerns of an eternal scene.” Procrastination is stasis and stasis is the clammy frozen death of dreams.

Ponder and learn from these words of William Shakespeare’s King Richard the Second. “I wasted time, and now doth time waste me; For now hath time made me his numbering clock: My thoughts are minutes; and with sighs they jar Their watches on unto mine eyes, the outward watch, Whereto my finger, like a dial’s point, Is pointing still, in cleansing them from tears. Now sir, the sound that tells what hour it is Are clamorous groans, which strike upon my heart, which is the bell: so sighs and tears and groans Show minutes, times, and hours.”

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe who is Germany’s “Shakespeare” is attributed with the statement, “Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”

It is said that everything is attitude and attitude is everything. You have just read five quotes, but think of them as tools for shaping your attitude. The correct attitude is a can do, will do, right now is everything, can’t wait to get started attitude. Throw on Van Halen’s song “Right Now” and crank it up for even more inspiration. Joseph Addison sums it up with this proverb, “Swift and resolute action leads to success; self-doubt is a prelude to disaster.” That is from the 1713 work called “Cato.”

What work is it you want to do? Do it now! Without question! Do not wait, for you will wait forever, and it will get done never. No mistake about it, the simple choice comes down to two. Do it or lose it. Positively YES is the answer that moves mountains and simultaneously makes them into molehills. Take action. Here is the sublime mantra of magical manifestation – DO IT, DO IT, DO IT, JUST DO IT NOW!

MONEY Magic Steps To Attract More

Last Updated: 2011/10/01

What is your relationship to money? Are you resisting your own wealth and abundance? Do you continue to overdraw your bank account? For sure, doing the same old thing will not get you ahead.

The word wealth is derived from Old English words weal (well-being) and th (condition). Wealthy can be defined as he state of being rich and affluent, having an abundance of material possessions and resources, and being profusely happy.

What does wealth mean to you? Does it mean not having to worry about money? Having good health? Having the freedom to do what you want to do? In any case, being wealthy is desirable, as it means having a higher quality of living.

This article is about increasing your ability to attract money and wealth through an energetic approach. Money is a force; a concentrated symbol of energy and power. Like all forces in the universe, money obeys certain universal laws or principles. You gain a great power over money when you understand the universal laws and act accordingly.

Defy Normal Notions

Most people are programmed to believe that hard work, determination, and drive attract money. However, there are more hidden and subtle ways to attract money, wealth, and prosperity. As you apply the Universal Law of Attraction, money will appear seemingly out of nowhere.

Your Finances Express Your Deep Feelings About Money

What are your money feelings? They are usually similar to your other relationship feelings. How do you deal with your relationships?

How do you feel about yourself?

Your inner most feelings about yourself is expressed in your relationship with money. Your financial situation is a means for you to express those deep feelings. If you are closed down and guarded, you block the inflow of money. Begin to understand those feelings to create and change your financialsituation. Be open and receptive to receive more money in your life.

Respect Money

Are you haphazard with the money in your wallet? Are your records disorganized? Respecting your money is a powerful mechanism to suddenly attract more of it. Keep precise, up-to-date accounts of it. Account for it in a timely, accurate manner. Give your money greater attention and it will respond in kind.

Your Thoughts Create

Are you holding back on paying or hoarding money? This prevents the free flow of money. Money needs to move freely in order to sustain itself. Do you have hidden fears that may be blocking money from circulating in your life? Reverse such out-moded attitudes and release old programming to bring a sudden abundant positive response and monetarial inflow to you.

Be Generous!

Are you stingy? Do you hold on tight to what money you have? When you shift your perspective from you to others, you increase the energy of attraction. Feeling generous with feelings of goodwill and gratitude attract good fortune. You automatically begin to attract more money towards you.

What Do You Really Want to Achieve?

Is your vision for the future fuzzy? Are you always thinking about your failures? A great way to attract more money is by developing a plan for improvement in your life. Decide what it is that you really want to achieve, organize the details of your vision, and carry it out with a positive attitude. Adopt an attitude of determination, commitment, and effort.

Get Clear About Your Goals and You Manifest Them

What are you visualizing? What self-talk tapes are you playing? When you get clear about your goals, you manifest them. Do you have a strong desire to make positive changes in your life, set goals and take action toward achieving them? Then you will attract success, wealth, and prosperity. The mere decision to act can attract results without effort.

There are NO LIMITS to How Much Prosperity YOU Can Attain

The single most powerful way to attract more money in your life is with your connection to the Divine Source of All. We live in an abundant universe. Connect with it and it will respond in kind. Open yourself to the Supreme Source and receive substantial results. Are you willing to have more abundance in your life?

Transform Your Energy to Attract Abundance

Do you squander money? Do you feel blocked? The energy that keeps you stuck in old unconscious patterns of disharmony and lack can be altered. Open yourself to manifest a life of success and abundance with joy. Re-direct unconscious energy that is preventing your abundance, well-being, harmony and love from manifesting. Let go of limiting thoughts. Adopt an attitude of gratitude. Be open to receiving.

Tips To Make You Greater

Last Updated: 2011/10/01

I have realized that one of the best decisions you can ever do is surround yourself with the right people. You want to take advantage of having the smartest people in their area of success, but more importantly you need to build your success around people that are consistent and motivated on their own.

Then if they don’t know it, it won’t matter because they will find it out. They will do whatever they must to achieve success. They are the heroes in business. They will do whatever necessary to achieve goals and make you look great.

One of the best things you can do as an owner of your own business is to realize that you are imperfect. You are going to just have to face it. There are no ways around it. No matter how hard you try to overcome some weaknesses, others will pop up. So you should just face it and get used to improving.

What you must never stop doing is humbling yourself. If you do that then you will be open to the key ingredients that are you missing on your way to success. Because when you realize your weaknesses then you realize gradually how to change towards what strengths that you may have with your life.

Then those strengths aren’t really that strong any more as they once might have appeared. It becomes second nature. You will then become admired. You will

then be respected as you had hoped to be, but you will be doing it without having to worry about putting in a ridiculous amount of hours into work. That freedom that you wanted will finally be there and you will be happy for it.

I don’t understand why people let peer pressure allow for people to tear them down. They let their friends stop them from taking advantage of opportunities that could change their lives, because they want to save their friend from a disaster, but they never offer to help them with their current financial crisis.

They don’t offer to build your retirement, pay your debt, or pay for your kid’s college. It is ironic that they become your friend so they can share the same weaknesses that have stopped them. It isn’t often malicious, but then comes the time when you have to think for yourself and let your dreams become a reality.

You realize that you were always that way, but you never realized your true potential before. It was only a step away. It is like watching a plant grow and then seeing the tip begin to bud, but only to get discouraged and squash it away because it isn’t happening fast enough. You know that plant will grow if you give it the proper sunlight and water. It was meant to.

The same is to be said for you. You were meant to be great. There is no doubt about it, but only yours.

Does this situation appear frequently? I am not a psychologist but my experience shows me it occurs everyday, and more than one time a day. I never have formal school classes to learn what to do with those thoughts, have you?

So, the best way to fight negative thought is to produce positive one. It seams simple, but you will have some kind of work. Therefore start to ask you what should take you run negative thoughts? Make a list of those negative thoughts and their motivation. It is very important to write as much you can. Then ask yourself: is that thought possible comes to happen? What could be an against thought, or positive one?

Now, with that list, you have things to choose. Yes, you will have to choose what to think. To choose here is to decide what you want to think from a range of things or possibilities.
