Simplx is arguably the most misleading dropship companies on the internet, because it is not a dropship company at all. They are misleading in the way that they describe themselves, they are extremely expensive, and there are no refunds. There are plenty of unhappy customers that have bought Simplx and felt misled, and the company should be avoided.

To gain full access to Simplx, it costs… are you ready?… $3,500. That’s three THOUSAND five HUNDRED dollars. With that amount of money, you could join many of the dropship companies that we actually recommend and have about three thousand dollars left over! Please believe us when we say that the high cost does NOT equal high quality when it comes to Simplx. They also offer a less expensive monthly program, but it is for a different company with less features called ClubDropship. Simplx gives this explanation on their website: ClubDropship includes limited access to our merchant supplier network and an introductory mentoring session for around $100 and $35 per month.

Simplx even charges users $20 just to hear the explanation of how their system works! The president of the company makes the analogy that this is the same as colleges charging an application fee.

Simplx claims to be a dropshipper, when in reality, they are affiliate middlemen. Instead of allowing you to sell the products as a dropshipper, they give you permission to sell their products, and they then give you a commission. Therefore, you are not dropshipping at all. Many people sign up hoping to have dropship access, but are disappointed by the fact that they receive commissions instead. In this way, you do not have the freedom that a dropship business provides. Instead, working for commissions is like working for a company. Therefore, if Simplx is providing a service that allows their users to work for them, why not make the service free? Instead, they charge thousands of dollars.

Any internet search will bring up a host of negative reports on Simplx. There is a plethora of information from individuals who claim to have been scammed by Simplx. We even found a forum chocked full of testimonials from people who used Simplx. A representative of Simplx joined the forum and tried to make a rebuttal, but she was chewed up by the upset members. Those who feel misled by the company have strong words against potential customers.

We recommend that you explore other options if you are interesting in dropshipping. Simplx is not the answer, as they are not a dropshipper at all. However, there are plenty of opportunities online, and there are a host of good, quality dropshippers that can provide the wholesale prices and services that you need in order to make money dropshipping.

When looking for dropshippers, be sure to compare prices, test the customer service, look for testimonials, and sign up for free trials if they are available. Do not fall for the schemes of sneaky companies. Being ripped off is never fun, but there are plenty of opportunities to excel in the dropshipping arena. Even if you have been ripped off by a company before, take heart in the fact that there are legitimate companies out there if you know where to look.

Graphic Designing … How Do I Do It?

One of the most important tools a website needs to be successful is eye catching graphics, with the use of these any run of the mill website will succeed in capturing a customer. Fantastic looking graphics are sure to impress any website visitor, unlike paragraphs upon paragraphs of catchy text graphics are there right in front of you, as said before, a picture paints a thousand words, well now a header image can tell a visitor about your product/service possibly better than 10 paragraphs of block text. So how can I create these images?

Back in September 2005 I started my online venture by selling eBooks on eBay, nothing major but it helped put petrol in my car at the end of every week. After a month I wanted to expand, I needed more sales to start covering my eBay fees that were every growing! I looked around at the top seller’s sales pages to see how they were selling their goods and making a profit from them. There were two things each ‘top seller’ had in common, these were a good feedback rating and awesome sales page graphics, these really blew you away, and I was amazed!

Since feedback on eBay was something that needed to be built over time I decided to set myself a goal of being able to create myself some pleasant, easy on the eye sales page graphics for my listings. I did a bit of research and found out that all the top designers used a program called Adobe Photoshop. So on I went and downloaded a 30 day trial from the Adobe website. After downloading Photoshop and having a small play with some of the features I could easily see why it was professionally used by a small minority, there were loads of features that I just simply couldn’t grasp.

I did a quick search on Google and found some great tutorial websites, two of my best finds being Pixel2Life.com and Good-Tutorials.com. I studied each and quickly started to master the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop. I quickly began to realise that it was not all that hard. I also discovered (after some time) that Pixel2Life had its very own forum where Photoshop beginners could ask experts any problems or queries they may have had, this was a very powerful tool and quickly transformed me from a beginner to an intermediate!

Now, 1 and a half years later, I have my very own graphic design business and I am taking orders every single day. It really shows what shear persistent can do. I set myself a goal and I reached it. From just a little bit of research, and practising, I became an expert in my field of graphic design, and you can too!

And finally, my favorite application of compare and tools. If you do a lot of modifications then sometime you face the problem, that it stopped working now. Why? I don’t know, what I do is moving step back with compare tool and compare version with bug to the version that works properly. Found changes? OK, let’s apply the to the version with bug. Wow! It works properly now.

Not that I don’t like Notepad or html-editors… I like the filling when I know about what changes I do upload to my web-site. I like to see in what way were php scripts changed, I like to see what changes were made to htm files, I fill comfortable when I can compare version that works properly to the newest version with some bugs. This feeling of control worth few bucks spent on reliable compare tool.

Search engines are the vehicles that drive potential customers to websites. In order for visitors to reach their destination – your website – you will need to provide them with specific and effective signs that will direct them right to the front door to your web site. You do this by finding and then creating carefully chosen keywords. Think of the right keywords as the magic key that opens the gate to traffic from the Internet. Find precise words or phrases, and presto! Tons of traffic will be pulling up to your front door. But if your keywords are too general or too over-used, the possibility of visitors actually making it to your site – or of seeing any real profits from the visitors that do arrive – reduce dramatically. Your keywords are the foundation of your marketing strategy. If they are not chosen with precision, no matter how aggressive your marketing campaign may be, the right people may never get the chance to find out about it. Therefore the first step in plotting your strategy is to gather and evaluate keywords and phrases. Bet you think you already know exactly the right words for your search phrases. But, unfortunately, if you haven’t followed certain specific steps, you are probably going to get it wrong. To be objective is hard, especially when you are deeply immersed in your business, which is one of the reasons that you may not be able to collate the most efficient keywords from within. You need to be able to think like your customers. Since you are a business owner and not the consumer, your best bet would be to go directly to the source. Instead of plunging in and scribbling down a list of potential search words and phrases that you think would be useful, try asking for words from as many potential customers as you can, see what they can come up with. You will most likely find out that your understanding of your business and your customers’ understanding are two totally different things. The consumer is a much underused resource. You will find the words you get from them are words and phrases you probably would never have considered. Only after gathering as many words and phrases from outside resources should you add your own keywords to the list. Once you have this list to prepared, you are then ready for the next step: evaluation. The aim of evaluation is to narrow down your list to a smaller number of words and phrases that will direct the highest number of quality visitors to your website. By “quality visitors” I mean those customers, who are most likely to make a purchase rather than just land on your site, look around and then take off for greener pastures. In evaluating the effectiveness of keywords, you have to bear in mind these three elements: popularity, specificity, and motivation. Popularity being the easiest to evaluate because it has an objective quality. The more popular your keyword or keywords are, the more likely the chances are that it will be typed into a search engine which will then bring up the web pages relevant to the specific keyword or phrase. You can purchase software that will rate the popularity of keywords and phrases by giving words a number rating based on real search engine activity. Software such as Word Tracker will even suggest variations of your words and phrases. The higher the number Word Tracker assigns to a given keyword, the more traffic you can expect to be targeted to your site this service however doesn’t come cheap. Another very effective software package, with a more palatable price tag is Keyword Elite by Brad Callen, this is the software that I have started to use myself and it has helped me to achieve a Google page rank of 2 with one of my sites in a very short period of time. If you are down at the bottom of the search results, potential customers will probably never find you. Popularity isn’t enough to declare a keyword a good choice. You must move on to the next criteria, which is specificity. The more specific your keyword is, the greater the chances are that the customer who is ready to purchase your goods or services will find you. Let’s look at a hypothetical example. Imagine that you have obtained popularity rankings for the keyword “automobile companies.” However, you company specializes in bodywork only. The keyword “automobile body shops” would rank lower on the popularity scale than “automobile companies,” but it would nevertheless serve you much better. Instead of getting a slew of people interested in everything from buying a car to changing their oil filters, you will get only those consumers with damaged front ends or crumpled fenders being directed to your site. In other words, consumers ready to buy your services or product are the ones who will immediately find you. Not only that, but the greater the specificity of your keyword is, the less competition you will face. The third factor is consumer motivation. Once again, this requires putting yourself inside the mind of the customer rather than the seller to sort out what motivation prompts a person looking for a service or product to type in a particular word or phrase. Let’s look at another example, such as a person who is searching for a job as an sales manager in a new city. If you have to choose between “Seattle job listings” and “Seattle sales manager recruiters” which do you think will benefit the consumer more? If you were looking for this type of specific job, which keyword would you type in? The second one, of course! Using the second keyword targets people who have decided on their career, have the necessary qualifications, and are ready to enlist you as their recruiter, rather than someone just out of school who is casually trying to figure out what to do with his or her life in between parties. You need to find people who are ready to act or make a purchase, and this requires subtle tinkering with your keywords until your find the most specific and directly targeted words or phrases to bring the most motivated traffic to you site. Once you have chosen your keywords, your work is not done. You must continually evaluate performance across all of the search engines, bearing in mind that times and trends change, as does popular lingo. You cannot rely on your log traffic analysis alone because it will not tell you how many of your visitors actually made a purchase. Luckily, some new tools have been invented to help you judge the effectiveness of your keywords in individual search engines. There is now software available that analyzes consumer behaviour in relation to consumer traffic. This allows you to discern which keywords are bringing you the most valuable customers. This is an essential concept: numbers alone do not make a good keyword; profits per visitor do. You need to find keywords that direct consumers to your site who actually buy your product, fill out your forms, or download your product. This is the most important factor in evaluating the efficiency of a keyword or phrase, and should be the sword you wield when discarding and replacing ineffective or inefficient keywords with keywords or phrases that bring in better profits. Ongoing analysis of tested keywords is the formula for search engine success. This may sound like a lot of work – and it is! But the amount of informed effort you put into your keyword campaign is what will ultimately generate your business’ rewards.

How to add music and MP3′s to Myspace

Did you hear some comments and feedback from your friends regarding your Myspace profile page that is a little boring and dry? Adding music and MP3s is one great way to liven it up. Read on if you are not sure how to go about it for more information.

The first step you will do if you are interested is to login to your profile and click on the link that says Music that is located right between Classifieds and Videos near the top of the page. It will then open to Myspace Music page and gives you the chance to browse or find some of your favorite and cool music. There is a search option here that will let you search by band name, band members, as well as by musical influences or even based on ‘sounds like’. You can also do specific searches according to your type of music or just simply look for bands from a specific geographical region or area.

Once you found the music you like just click on that group’s page. You will then see a list of songs. You can view the lyrics or listen to the songs and you can also rate the songs. When you have decided what song to add you will need to click the Add button that will be located next to the song you have chosen. There will be a confirmation box that will pop up asking if you really want to add the song to your page. Just click on Add Song to Profile and the song will be added. That will now play as background music on your page.

Aside from adding music directly from Myspace, there are also other options in doing it. A better way is to add an MP3 player from profilepitstop.com – Where you can choose your own MP3 player graphics, add your favorite tunes and create your play list. If you wish to add a song from your hard drive, you can do so but, you need to upload it first to the web. The MP3 file must be on the web for you to use it on your Myspace profile page or else it will only be available to you if it’s only in your hard drive. You can upload it to your personal website but if you don’t have there are some for free like GeoCities or many other sites. Once you have uploaded the MP3 file just take note of the URL or web address of the file.

After choosing your preferred player you can also change its color that will best match your profile page. Next is to create a play list after you have made the color selection.

To create a play list, simply get the web address of the MP3 files that you want to include. Either the one you have uploaded onto your personal webpages or from other pages. Here’s an example of the web address: http://www.domainname.com/foldername/songtitle.mp3

After knowing the locations of the song just simply copy the web address (CTRL+C) and paste it into one of the MP3 field provided. Then write the title of the song in the title box and click Add to Playlist.

Most likely you will need to right click on the MP3 files and go to properties to get the URL. Note that the correct and working URL must begin with http: and must end with .mp3. Once you are done clicking on Add to Playlist button just click on Go to Next Step. It will then generate the code and just simply copy the code. Next open your MySpace profile page and click on Edit profile then paste the code that you have copied wherever you want the player to appear on your page.

In this article, I want to investigate whether there are, as yet, any clearly discernible trends in the usage of videos being published online.

Let us look at these non-IM people, ordinary people who are creating videos by the million, to see if we can ascertain what is behind this video ‘wave’, what is driving it.

Sit down when you have a spare ten minutes sometime, and take a look, as an example, at YouTube.

Punch in a keyword for your search, and have a look at the results, to see if there is any discernable pattern.

For example, for this article, I ran such a search for ‘headphones’, which returned nearly 700 results.

Browse a few pages of those results, and a few common features about the videos and their makers become abundantly clear:

• The individuals in the videos and those making them, are overwhelmingly young
• The video quality is usually poor, and generally lasts for 20 seconds or less and
• The ‘victim’ on video is usually doing something that is either funny, or embaressing, depending on your point of view.

What does this tell us about this new ‘video age’?

Well, without being too sociologically deep, it tells us that these videos are, basically, the online version of reality TV.

You only have to see how many of these videos are of people videoing themselves, to realize that Andy Warhol was dead on the money all those years ago!

Everyone is, indeed, chasing the proverbial 15 minutes of fame, and they do not, quite frankly, care how they get it!

It also begins to explain the video explosion itself.

Almost all of the videos seem to have been shot using handphones, which allow the capture of thousands of spur of the moment events that were previously lost.

Hence, the shortness of the videos and their poor quality.

And the other thing I noticed from these videos?

The vast majority have had only a tiny handful of viewers, and often, the description or tagline of the video is written as if you, the viewer, are supposed to know the people involved.

As indeed you are, because the vast majority are clearly made by youngsters to show to and impress or amuse their friends.

They are not planned or plotted, they tell no story, and, basically, for the outside world, they have absolutely zero interest.

Now, quite obviously, making a video tp promote your business that no-one apart from your wife or kids want to watch is pretty pointless. In other words, if you are planning to use video as part of a Web 2.0 marketing campaign, these ‘normal world’ videos are an object lesson in what NOT to do!

Not because of film quality, or even the length of the video, but simply because nobody outside a very small group of people would have any reason at all to warch them.

Of the ‘headphone’ videos that I suffered through, only a very small number indeed have any chance of ‘crossing over’ into the mainstream consciousness, and will forever be stuck with 5 viewers.

In fact, on a personal level, I found the vast majority to be squirmingly embarrassing.

We all know that no-one who is wearing headphones can sing quietly or in tune – sorry, kids, that is not news and it is very definitely not funny!

These videos are not in any way interesting, engaging, amusing or educational to the outside world at all.

And that is exactly what you need to avoid at all costs, if you plan to be successful with your efforts to use video to boost your marketing efforts online.
